Autoglym Surface Detailing Clay Kit

This kit contains a Surface Detailing Clay Bar together with an instant detailing lubricant (Rapid Detailer). Use in conjunction to remove embedded road grime, tar, tree sap, overspray, industrial fallout and other common paint contaminants. 

The Surface Detailing Clay Bar is a specially formulated clay compound that quickly and safely removes contaminants that are trapped on the paint surface. The clay works by ‘grabbing’ microscopic particles and pulling them free from the surface leaving an ultra smooth finish in preparation for polishing.

Clay can also be used as shown below to remove brake dust that has become embedded in alloy wheels.
 

The kit comprises of:-

• Rapid Detailer (Quick Detailer and Clay Lubricant) 500ml

• Surface Detailing Clay Bar 100g

• Super Resin Polish 100g

• 100% Cotton Polishing Cloth

• Blue Microfibre Cloth

 HOW TO USE

• Wash your vehicle.

• Knead the clay until warm and supple.  Pull off a piece and form into a pad about the size of a large coin.

• Spray area to be treated with clay lubricant.

• Gently move the clay over the surface with light finger pressure.

• Once area feels smooth to touch wipe off any remaining clay lubricant.

• Apply Super Resin Polish using Perfect Polishing Cloth in a light circular motion finishing in straight lines to give even coverage.

• Allow Super Resin Polish to dry before buffing lightly with a clean cotton cloth.
